Through its participation at APM 2026, IEMA aims to strengthen connections between international technology providers and Asian maritime stakeholders, and to support the region’s transition toward electric and hybrid propulsion.

The integration allows SEA.AI’s real-time machine vision detections, including vessels, floating objects, hazards, and near-miss situations, to be captured and logged by Barnacle’s BRNKL Black, a mission-critical “black box for boats”. The result is a unified safety and intelligence solution that reduces collision risk, supports crew decision-making, and improves post-incident review, compliance, and insurance documentation.

SEA.AI’s advanced optical situational awareness system, Watchkeeper, is now fully integrated into the USV12, a 12-meter Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) developed by VN Maritime and Havelsan, in collaboration with Piloda Defence and VN Maritime Shipyard.
