Marseille, France — February 4, 2026 — SEA.AI has received a Special Mention at the Euromaritime Awards, a recognition by the event’s jury to highlight particularly impactful maritime innovations. Presented during Euromaritime, one of Europe’s benchmark events for the maritime economy and blue innovation, the distinction recognizes SEA.AI’s contribution to improving maritime safety and situational awareness through real-time AI-based machine vision.

SEA.AI’s systems combine advanced optical and thermal sensors and artificial intelligence trained on millions of maritime hazards to detect and classify objects including vessels, floating debris, marine mammals, and persons overboard, day and night. By providing real-time alerts and visual context, the technology complements radar and AIS, helping crews reduce collision risk and make informed decisions onboard.

“Our goal is to make the seas safer by giving crews better awareness of their surroundings in real operating conditions. Receiving this recognition reflects how strongly the technology resonated with the jury of maritime experts,” said Solenn Goeurou, SEA.AI’s head of marketing & communications.
AI-powered machine vision is playing a growing role in supporting safer and more efficient vessel operations across commercial, government, and professional maritime sectors. As adoption accelerates, SEA.AI continues to expand globally through partnerships with shipyards, OEMs, and fleet operators.
